ADVISER
TRAINING SOLUTIONS TO SANDLER RECOMMENDATIONS
The Investment Management Association
welcomes Sandler’s recommendations that advisers should
focus more on investment issues especially asset allocation.
The need for training in this area is
the basis for its two training courses, one of which is run
in conjunction with the AITC.

developing a distance-learning package that has recently

IMA
has long campaigned for a better standard of investment
knowledge amongst financial advisers who recommend
investment funds.
It is currently working with the FSA on its review of
adviser exams.
