AUTIF/AITC
INVESTMENT COURSE FOR IFAs
With the Sandler*
review currently questioning the standard of advisers’
knowledge about investment issues, the AUTIF/AITC Portfolio
Planning Workshops are an excellent opportunity for IFAs to
improve their investment expertise.
These one-day workshops, launched last year, have
gained very positive feedback with 250 IFAs already
attending.
The Portfolio
Planning Workshop is designed to improve advisers’
investment skills in managing portfolios. Advisers who
attend the course are provided with a valuable tool kit
concentrating on asset allocation, investment strategy and
fund selection.
The workshops will
focus on how to:

Understand effective risk
management

Understand and implement
asset allocation techniques

Identify, prioritise and
apply fund selection criteria
-
Use benchmarks for fund and
portfolio performance evaluation

Describe clearly to clients
how portfolio recommendations add value

Director of Training and Education at AUTIF commented:

improve their understanding of investment issues and get
ahead of FSA requirements.
The workshops work well for advisers considering
advanced qualifications such as the AFPC papers G20 and
G70.”

take place around the country (dates and locations below),
from 9am to 5pm with lunch included.
They cost £195 plus VAT.
