AUTIF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE NOMINATES NEW CHAIRMAN

Alan Burton, Managing Director at Standard Life Investments (Mutual Funds) Limited, has been nominated by the Executive Committee of the Association of Unit Trusts and Investment Funds (AUTIF) to be its next Chairman. Member companies will be asked to consider the proposal and to agree the appointment at AUTIF’s Annual General Meeting on 9 May 2001 at Drapers’ Hall, London EC2.

In accordance with the Association’s constitution, Alan Ainsworth, Deputy Chairman of Threadneedle Investments, the current Chairman, steps down after two years in office.
