FREE - AUTIF's INTRODUCTORY GUIDE TO ETHICAL INVESTMENT FUNDS

With more and more people taking an interest in ethical and environmental issues, investors will be pleased to discover that there are increasing opportunities to combine ethical and financial decision-making. ‘Ethical Investment’ is a new factsheet from the Association of Unit Trusts and Investment Funds (AUTIF). It explains how to go about selecting a fund and gives details of what to look for to ensure that your choice of fund meets your precise requirements.

The factsheet also shows how ethical funds have performed over the past 15 years. In addition, included with the factsheet is an up to date list of the ethical funds currently available and their different investment criteria.

Anne McMeehan, AUTIF’s Director of Communications, commented:

"Because some very different funds are classified as ‘ethical’, it is important that investors choose carefully before committing themselves. They need to be sure that the fund not only satisfies their investment objectives, but really does fit their ethical criteria as well"
