To encourage higher standards of training and professional development amongst members of IMA and the UK investment management industry in general, including advisers, and so improve their services to their customers.
To improve members’ awareness, understanding and application of new regulations and changes in operations or tax affecting the industry
To enable members to exchange views, identify good practice and develop new ideas
To help members of the public understand the services offered by the investment managers and so be more likely to benefit from them.
